I don't guess you had a later Edward, i.e. about 1775 who was called Ned did you?? Of course, Ned is a nick name for Edward. I've been searching for ole Ned for some time. Is Shocco Creek close to Buck Horn Creek? There is supposed to have been a Ned Jones who wrote an 1835 will in Buck Horn Creek NC but Buck Horn Creek goes through about 5 counties. The Will is not posted in the State listings of Wills so would have to research all AT the county court houses. seems like Warren is one of those counties.
