Hi Everyone, I'm writing about that e-mail Jones List and contribuating some information. John Jones was born in 1813 in New York state, but we don't know where. He died in Wood county, Wisconsin in 1871, and he had an occupation of logging, some say he was a lumber barron in Wood county. That has not been proved. His wife, was Olive Paterson Jones, born 1816 in New York state, but we don't know where. She died in 1902 in Pendleton, Umatilla county, Oregon. They had two adopted children, and four by natural birth. Charles P. Jones was born in Bangor, Maine in Dec. of 1836, and died 11 July 1914 in San Diego, California. He was married to Catherine Menning on 13 Oct. 1888 in Rock Island, Illinois. He was also adopted by John Jones and Olive Paterson Jones. William Willard Jones was born in 1840 in the state of Ohio, and he died in Oregon, but the date is not known. He was legally blind, and never married. Levi Lyman Jones was born 25 Feb. 1842 in the state of Ohio, and died 01 April 1926 in Fountain township, Juneau county, Wisconsin. He married Sybil Amanda Smith on 29 Aug. 1868 in New Lisbon, Juneau county, Wisconsin. Eliza J. Jones was born Mar of 1847 in the state of Ohio and died 12 Dec. 1916 in Barbar, Ada county, Idaho. Her husband was James Theodore Gray, and they were married between 1876 and 1877 in Wisconsin. John Andrew Jones was born 27 Sept. 1853 in Plymouth township, Sheboygan county, Wisconsin, he died 20 Feb. 1933 in Pendleton, Umatilla county, Oregon. His wife was Alice Adele Boylan and they were married about 1880 in Wisconsin. Joseph Huff, (adopted son, never changed last name) was born 10 March 1863 in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. He died 08 May, 1943 in Missouri. His wife was Wilheimine Whittlock, and they were married on 01 Oct. 1886 in Wellsville, Montgomery county, Missouri.
