The notes below are extracted from my research data on a Wiley Jones b. 1823-1832 in Bedford Co TN. He was son of Seaborn L. Jones and Catherine Long who were married there in 1820. Other children's names: William, Tacy, Joseph F., Nancy, Amos Dickens. This Wiley was listed as a son in a letter written back in 1900 by one of the William Jones (above) descendants. I have located all the other children, but never a trace of this one. I don't think he died early because the author of this letter recorded death of one member of the family in 1861. All the children ended up in Texas by 1850 - mainly Bexar Co, Cherokee/Rusk Co's and some went on to Polk Co AR. Does anyone have more data on the Wiley B.
