I have been able to find nothing documenting his death, or anything else for that matter. He left his family in Miami County, OH when he went to New Orleans. Judging strictly by his wife's (Lucy Thompson) age, he probably would have been in his 40's or older at his death. She was born in 1784, so I'm figuring that he would have been at least as old as she was. I know this isn't much, but I have never been able to pin William down to the point of having hard birth or death dates. From the information I do have, he must have been quite a traveler. Thanks Bill Jones Winfield, KS
