    3. Okay folks, please stop talking about the so-called spam (it wasn't) reaching Rootsweb lists. So far at least 6 people have unsubscribed because of this incident and the continued discussion. A fellow listmember sent the email, naturally it went straight through to the list. Had it been a non-member spammer, it would have been stopped at the server level for my review and approval just as David explained. Sometimes things happen and listmembers add list email to round-robin 'send this to everyone in my email address book' or to a bunch of friends. Something may be wrong with her email account. At any rate, I hope it will not happen again. When listmembers have a problem with their mail or if someone has a history of accidentally sending off-topic posts (jokes, invitations, etc.) to the list I put them on moderated status until I can be sure it will not happen again. Just a reminder here to be careful what you send to this list, do not put it or any other list in 'group' of friends in your email where if you click on send to group that we get it as well. That's usually what the problem is when an off-topic mail gets to the list. So instead of chatting about spam, etc. why not post your Jones most-wanted? 3. I am the g-g-g-grandaughter of Wiley Jones and Sarah Hendrickson. I have been seeking proof of the parents of Wiley. John Jones, son of Revoluntionary Patriot Stephen Jones of St. Marys Maryland, is believed to be the father with the mother being daughter of Michael Risener. Anyone out there who can point me in the right direction to obtain some sort of documental proof of the parentage? I have the John Jones will and the book by M.Condor. Help! Help! Help! Hoping for some new long lost relative. Ha! Thanks for looking ... 3. My most wanted Jones is the parents of William C. Jones. He was born in TN ca 1824. He married Nancy Ann Lankford in Ripley, TN ca 1848 (don't have my records with me). they lived in Haywood and Lauderdale Counties. I found him in the 1850 and 1860 census', but only the family after that. William and Nancy had three sons, William, John and James Lafayette. James is my great grandfather. Anyone else researching this family? Thank you! Dorothy M.
