I have an Anderson Jones who was the brother of one of my ancestors and they started in PA/MD/TN/TX. Anderson Jones, son of Benjamin F. Jones & Providence Jane Odell, born 1808 in Baltimore Co., MD, moved to East TN with his parents about 1815, married twice and died in Austin, TX. The same couple had another son named Thomas Anderson Jones (Anderson was Benjamin's mothers' maiden name) and he stayed in Baltimore when his parents moved (he was born in 1797), had one son named Thomas Anderson, this family moved to WV and I have no idea where they went after that but know that some of his children did move elsewhere, perhaps to IN.
