If anybody is interested in this Jones in McLennan co, Tx, I can add to it that I have a Thomas and Daniel Jones, that left Hancock co, Tn in 1851/2 and migrated to McLennan co, Tx. I don't know if there is a connection or not. If anyone makes a connection, I would like to know about it. There is also a later Wiley Jones in the same Tenn co b 1855. May be a connection.
