The COPE I have is Elizabeth Cope born about 1745. She married Vinson/Vincent Jones. They lived on the north fork of the New River in Ashe Co., N.C. I know that some COPEs married Bashams in Virginia, I believe, and some came into Kentucky and settled in the southeastern part of the state. I have very little on that family. My goal before dying is to find parents of Vinson Jones.
