I am just beginning my research of James Jones and Lavina Hoomes who married in Fauquier County, Virginia in 1802. Anyone willing to share information, particularly sources, please contact me off list. Do you know if James had a brother named John H. Jones and if so to whom was he married? I believe he would be a year or two older. Shari ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.

    2. So far, I know little about James Jones and Lavina Hoomes.? They may have been married in Fauquier County on September 27, 1802.? They may have had a son, William Jones, who married Nancy Lightfoot of the Culpeper County Lightfoot family.? The descendants of James and Lavina may have migrated to Pendleton County, Kentucky circa 1800. -----Original Message----- From: GenealogyJones@aol.com To: jones@rootsweb.com Sent: Thu, 28 Jun 2007 11:43 pm Subject: [JONES] Larry: James Jones/Lavina Hoomes, Fauquier VA 1802 In a message dated 6/28/2007 6:59:47 P.M.
