I am still searching for the names of the parents of A.Jackson Jones . he was born 1840 in Indiana, died 1919 in Louisiana at the home of his son Oliver . He lived and married in Illinois where he lived for several years. He and family moved to Arkansas around 1890 or so. He stated in Civil War pension papers that his father was born in Georgia. with all the activity on the Jones list, I am in hopes that someone will connect. NB

I too have a Jackson Jones.........he was born in Graves Co, Ky about 1844 to James Garland Jones and Frances L.
