JONES Researchers, My brick wall is Lottie Polly (aka Mary) JONES. According to stories in our family, Polly mar Amos JOYNER b abt 1786/90. He was found in the Franklin Co 1830 NC census, Bledsoe Twp/Dist . Amos died before Jun 1838, and I have been unable to find Mrs Polly Joyner in the 1840 or the 1850 census. None of her 3 younger JOYNER children (Martha b 1832/34, Augustus Perry b 1836, and Priscilla Ann b 1838) were listed in the 1850 census either. Mary (aka Polly) Joyner was found in 1860, 60 yrs age, keeping house, in H/H of her son, W B Joynerl, as well as Augustus & Amos Ann (aka Priscilla Ann). In 1870, Mary (aka Polly) was 70 yrs, invalid, in H/H of Willis B JOYNER. Also in H/H were his sister, Martha (widow) Burnett and her young son, William A. Burnett. Lottie Polly/aka Mary (JONES) was b abt 1800 There is some information from a deceased relative from Franklin County North Carolina who claims that Amos Jones Joyner from Vance County North Carolina married Lottie (sometimes called Polly) and that she was a close relative of Daniel Boone. To date I have been unable to document this. Your help would be appreciated. Anyone with information re this family, please contact me or the List. We can share our genealogy.
