    3. Hello, I am curious about your ancestress' brothers. Did she have a brother names Aquilla/Aquila Jones? My 3rd greatgrandfather Aquilla Jones was a farmer in Graves County, KY and the 1850 census indicates he was from Virginia. Is there any connection? 3. Not to mention the fact that her age would have been 42 yrs. if b 1808 and d 1850. But then maybe you meant to put 1855 instead of 1850. Typos are really easy to make. That would cover Dorothy's wondering also. What's the answer? Thanks for sharing all the info with us. 2. Thank you for looking. James Jones was living with his Hicks in- laws close to Freeman Jones in the 1850 census. That is really the only clue we have on James Jones family. His father- in- Law was Isham Hicks a Baptist preacher. Does the book have anything on him? Isham was from Georgia but spent a few years in Pike Co. AL for some reason and that is where some of his children were married. Thanks again, Pat ************************************** See what's new at http://www.aol.com

    3. Correction, my connection is thru John, born 1792. It was late.. Sandy H I've not posted my names in quite awhile and with all the activity lately thought I'd send them thru. I'm looking for siblings or parents of SAMUEL JESSE JONES, born about 1764 in the Laurens CO area of SC, died 1796 in the Newberry CO area of SC. Samuel was married to Rebecca DALRYMPLE, born about 1764 (tho' some say she was younger by years) and died in 1834, never remarried that I've found. Samuel and Rebecca had 4 sons-1 set of twins, and one daughter Eleanor. The boys are John-1792 Ephriam C. & Lewis Dalrymple born 1794 Samuel - 1795 I've connected a few lines down the road but not a sibling or parent for Samuel. Am hoping someone may have come across something with all the chatter recently. My line is connected through the youngest son Samuel. He descendants migrated over a couple of counties, moving into the Oconee area and later into Pickens Co SC. Any cousins looking just let me know..
