I am looking for parents and/or siblings of Harvey L. Jones. Lived most of his life in the Bridgeport, Jackson Co. area of Alabama. In the 1910 census it shows his father was born in Illinois and his mother in Tennessee. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Patsy Litten peglund@ticon.net

Looking for L. Ethie Jones b. 1878 possibly in Texas. Census records show her parents were from Mo. and she was born in Texas. By 1900 she is in Titus County Texas. She died abt 1929 in Oklahoma. I havent been able to find her in a cenus record with her family. The 1900 census record she is already married. Have no other info on her other than her childrens names. Kim

My great grandmother was Ada Jones, ma first to Monroe Chasteen and second to a Dr. Roden. She had a sister, Mary Jones Wallace, and James Holland Jones, bd 10/26/1878. I am reposting my Jones line in hopes someone might connect. Lewis M. (Lige) Jones, born 5/1842 in Tennessee.. married Sophia Elizabeth Cummins, 1870, in Fannin County, TX Children: Elijah Thomas Jones, b 9/19/1871, Fannin Co., TX Samuel Marion Jones, b 11/3/1875 in Grayson Co., TX Maggie Jones, b 5/1883 in Grayson Co., TX Robert Silas David Jones (my grandfather), b 1/9/1886 in Grayson Co., TX Lige and Elizabeth are buried in Montague Cemetery, Montague Co., TX. Until recently, gravestones lost to time. They are said to have died in later part of 1918, along with daughter Maggie, in the flu epidemic. I have been unable to find death records. Thank goodness, there are is a good record of burials in this cemetery! I am looking for any information that would help me to find ancestry and parentage of Lewis M. Jones (Lige). Jeremiah Jones, b. 1825; d. 1900 in Morgan Co., TN. He married Louisa Stonecipher (1835-1912) about 1855 in Morgan Co. Their children were Mary, Minerva, William, Ruth, Sarah, Lucretria, John, Samuel, Theresa, James, Emma and Henry. Jeremiah's parents are thought to be Shadrich Jones (b. 1783, NC; d. 1851, TN) and Mary Ann Davis (b. 1796, NC; d. 1881, TN) who were married in NC in about 1820. Any connections out there? Hi All, Here's mine, Richard C Jones Sr B NC. He came down to Tennessee, Murfreesboro, Rutherford Co setteled there. He apparently was a vet as he drew a pension. His son Richard C Jones Jr b 1821, married three ladies, the latter one Mary Jane McHenry Jones b 1830 married Rc Jr 1852. This one was my grandmother. Their son David Madison Jones b 1857 in Vicksburg, Ms. David Madison was my father's dad, dad being William Lee Jones Sr b was born in 1889 Dyersburg, Tn. I am trying to determine if an individual named Lewis Jones (b 12/25/1795, and whose parents were John Jones - born 5/8/1750 - & Barsheba Blanketship of Albemarle Co, VA) is the same person as a Lewis Taylor Jones Sr., born probably about that time and place and married to a Martha Paynes. I am looking for a John W. Jones that was born in MO, he would have been born around 1850-1870. I am looking for his birth parents, but not having any luck. He married a Mary Freeman maybe born around the same time as John, she was born in Kansas. They had a son named Everett Wellington Jones born Jan. 31, 1894 in MO, died 12/126/1935 in Omaha, NE.
