I cannot help you, but you are one of the few that seems to be looking for Jones Info in mo, as I am also. My Jones married into a family of French people, as are many in St. Francois, Mo. wm. Jones lived in downtown St. Louis, MO. was born about 1837 and was still alive in 1895. I know nothing else about him. He was on 1880 census, but no new info. I will keep an eye out for your Jones while I am searching. But I won't be going to Archives until weather is much better. Leon, I would be very interested in info on your Henry Jones who married a Lindley. My Joneses and Perrys, of Chatham County NC, also married Lindleys. I can't get any further back than James Jones Sr. born about 1750 in either VA or NC; had two sons Samuel and James Jr.; I am descended from James Jr. who married Naomi Baker.
