Nancy, I have never been able to find the parents or siblings for Nathaniel M. Jones. According to Nathaniel's death certificate his parents were Nathaniel and Atheriah Jones of somewhere in Virginia. Carol

I know I have put this out several but I am searching for any information on John W. Jones born bet: 1850-1870 in MO, married Mary Freeman born in KS prob. the same time as John. they had one son named Everett W. Jones born one record says 1898, but if you calculate his age by his death and marriage record his birth year would have been around 1893-1894 (born on 1-31) in MO. HE enlisted in teh Army during WWI in Montana on Oct 2, 1917/18, discharged on Nov. 2, 1918 in Montana he married Hattie May Griffin on May 9, 1923 in Omaha, NE where they lived. I have found them 2 in the 1930 Census of Omaha, NE. Can anyone help with this family?? I am giving up this is my last request until I can get further information on them which could be a very long time... Hello Melissa, Samuel Preston Jones and his wife, Mary F. German left for Oklahoma from Missouri. Four children, Alta, Charles, Samuel and Goerge came with their parents to Oklahoma.....and all of them died and buried in Oklahoma, except Samuel, I do not know where he was. My grandfather was William Jasper Jones b 1881 d 1932 I believe both in Claiborne Co. TN. He married my gm: Rachel Crawford b 1881, Claiborne Co.,d 1957 Knox County. His parents were Calvin Jones, and Martha Thompson Jones. He and his parents are buried in Claiborne Co, Rachel is buried in Skaggs Cemetery in Union Co., Maynardville. I am lost with much about Calvin. There are no family paperwork, no bibles or anything. My Jasper has nothing to do with the Jasper Jones car parts business somewhere in Union or Claiborne or Knox Counties. (Although it could be a nephew of his) Any help would be appreciated. Patty

Thanks Joe, I live in the Central Valley near Modesto, Stanislaus Co. Yolo Co. is up North, above Sacramento on I-5 (Interstate 5). Woodland would be the next town of any size after passing Sacramento, then the small town of Yolo. My state Road Altas says in 2001 there were about 650 people, so very small. Hope that helps. Hi all Jones researchers, My search is for an Ovis Jones from Graves or McCracken Co., Ky b. abt. 1896 possibly the son of Manuel Jones. I am searching on very little info. I know that Ovis' father died in a hunting accident in McCracken Co, Ky but I don't know when. Ovis also may have had a son in IL who was born in 1940.
