Since we have increased membership on this forum, I thought it was time to circulate my JOLLY ancestor's name and see if anyone could help me w/ her. Phoebe married a MARTIN, about whom I know nothing except that she had Priscilla by him. He must have died because in the late 1700s she married Richard WEAVER BARNES, who died in 1812 and they had Susanna, Amelia (mine) and Weaver. She later married Ezekiel LEWIS another Rev. War officer as was BARNES. Phoebe followed her daughters to OH from MD in the 1820s following the death of her third husband. She brought young Weaver by horseback by herself to see them but returned to care for Ezekiel. Anyone ever hear of my Phoebe? Marjory A. Austen MAPPAusten@aol.com
