<Hi, Emma! Yesterday I searched the following for my JOLLY line from Leyland, Lancs & came across this birth-don't know if any use? The film is EUXTON CHAPELRY PARISH OF LEYLAND, LANCS. ENG. FHS No. 093703. Film No. 134 Chorley (St Lawrence) 1548-1947. 1805 27 June B., 28 June C., William s/o William & Phoebe JOLLEY, Heath Charnock. There are a lot of Jollys in & around Leyland, mine were mainly in Whittle-le-Woods but generally the CHORLEY Registry area. I also have a computer printout my sister in Eng. supplied stating there were JOLIEs as far back as 1066 & they came over from France. Happy hunting - hope this helps someone?
