I would love to hear from anyone who has information about the line of JOLLYs that my ancestor hailed from. She married Richard WEAVER BARNES in MD ca. 1799 but already had a daughter Priscilla by Unk. MARTIN. Phoebe and Richard had Susan, Amelia (mine) and Weavor prior to Richard's death ca. 1812. She then married Ezekiel LEWIS who was another Rev. War Officer, the same as BARNES. I have no idea as to her parentage. Do we have anyone out there who might have a clue to her ancestry? BARNES was from England and suspect that JOLLY was also but have no connection. She died in Perry CO., OH where she moved following Ezekiel's death. Amelia married Jacob PETTY of Perry CO who was the son of Joseph and Elizabeth PETTY. Any leads appreciated. Marjory A. Austen
