Minor Dye (b. 1800 d. 1872) s/o James Dye (1779-1842) and Mary Knight (1768-1821) married Rachel Cain around 1844. Their son, Jefferson was born in 1844. Rachel Cain was married before Minor - to Titus Jolly and they had three children, born between 1828 and 1837. In the 1850 Census for Jackson Township, Greene County, Pennsylvania, the family is listed: Minor Dye 51-PA Rachel 50-PA Jefferson - 6- PA Mary Ann Jolly -22 b. 1828 Children by first marriage to Titus JOLLY Oliver P -15-Pa b. 1835 Charles - 13 - PA b. 1837
