Hi Listers, I'm resubmitting my interest in the JOLLY name and link to WILSON. My details are very limited but perhaps someone has a connection(fingers and everything crossed)! My gt.grandfather was James Robert WILSON born 1843/44 in Muthill, Perthshire, Scotland. His parents were Robert WILSON (tailor) and Jane JOLLY or JOLLIG or JOLLING and I don't know of other children. On 18 March 1878 James Robert WILSON married Annie Louisa LAMONT at the Bible Christian Church, Camperdown (Geelong) Victoria, Australia. They had three daughters Mary Ann (1879-1936) Jane (1880-?) and Abigal/Abigail (1882-1884). Annie Louisa died in the same year (1884) as her youngest daughter Abigail. According to family 'legend' James Robert WILSON changed his name to Robert KING and died at the Melbourne Hospital on 10 June 1896. I'm unable to find out when James Robert arrived in Australia - did he bring his parents, brothers/sisters or any of Jane JOLLY's family?
