Hello, evryone. I am Marlene Jolly from Worden, IL. I am searching for my husband's elusive ancestors :-) Miles Jolly was b. about 1814 in NC, according to all census records. I have found nothing to verify his parents and grandparents. I have been told his father was Allen, from Iredell Co, NC, but no proof. I found Miles in the 1840 Smith Co, TN census and shortly after that he came to IL. By 1850, he was in Perry Co, Mo. By 1860, in Jackson Co, Il; 1870 Scott Co, MO. His wife, Mary Uhles Jolly, died at Randolph Co, Mo 1880. Does anyone have any Miles Jolly in their line? Thanks and have a GREAT day! Marlene
