Hi All, I know that some of you already have this but it may be of interest to some of our new arrivals. I am curious about the William mentioned. It seems he died prior to Jos writing this will. I am fairly sure that his wife is Philippa. They were still in Cornwall in 1859 as he was pressent at his father's death and seemingly from the details on the certificate john lived with William and Philippa at Meledor Downs (? ), St Stephen in Brannel. They are also on the 1851 census. They must have gone to USA after 1859. Can anyone throw some light on this one? Kay PS This Joseph is Pat's problem Jos. Joseph Jolly deceased 010515 (in column) South Australia In the Supreme Court Testamentary Causes Jurisdiction Number 479 Be it known that on the second day of April 1889 the last will and testament a copy whereof is hereunder written of Joseph Jolly late of Number 15 Ferris Town in the city of Truro but late of Penryn in the County of Cornwall Retired Farmer deceased who died on the Ninteenth day of January 1889 at Plymouth in the County of Devon in England was proved and registered in the Supreme Court of the Province of South Australia and that administration of all and singular the personal estate and effects of the said deceased within the said Province was granted by the aforesaid Court to Richard Lathleen of College Park in the said province Gentleman one of the Executors named in the said will / Henry Jolly one of the executors named in the said will having died on the twenty sixth day of December one thousand eight hundred and eighty eight / he having been sworn well and faithfully to collect get in and administer the same by paying the just debts of the said deceased and the legacies contained in his said will and to exhibit a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the said estate and effects and to render a just and true account thereof whenever required by law so to do.
