Hello there! My first post to this page is a pleasure because it comes as part of the demolition of an enormous "brick wall" that has seen me working various angles for the past 5 years or more. In any case, I am looking for information regarding Robert Johnston (born June 1825 in Ireland) and his wife Jane (born Jan 1830 in Scotland) who came to the United States as children (at ages 5 and 8, respectively) - moved to Canada where they had the bulk of their family and then to Missouri in 1871. They lived for a time in Shelby County, Mo. and then moved to Barton County, Mo. in the mid to late 1890's. The couple had 9 living children in 1900 amongst whom were Robert (born 1858), Anna (born 1862), Alexander, Thomas, William, John and Eliza (born 1875 in Missouri). After 1900 the only one I can find is Robert who is living in McHenry County, North Dakota.
