I just want to introduce myself, in hopes that there is someone out there that is directly related to me. I was born Joyce Ann Johnston in Perth, New Brunswick on April 29, 1949. My father is Harold Charles Johnston,born October 2.1926. He was born in either Morrell Siding, N.B. or Plaster Rock, N.B. My mother is Elva Leona (Murchison) Johnston, born June 8, 1930 in Four Falls, N.B. They were married July 18,1949. My dad's father was Hollis Johnston. I'm not sure when or where he was born. I only know a few things about him. Grampa was hurt in an accident and was in a hospital for a while.(I remember visiting him) I was really young as he died when I was 3 years old which would have been in 1952. He had a brother Ernest Johnston. I also remember a sister I think who lived over in Maine. My dad's mother was Ellen (everyone called her Nellie)Ashford born Sept.,1900 in Plaster Rock I believe. Dad has two sisters, Bertha Anna, born March 27, 1925 and Geneva May, born April 13, 1927. Aunt Bertha married Robert Edward Ewart Feb.23, 1946 and aunt Geneva married Bruce Raymond Wasson July 24, 1946.
