Mr. Francis Johnston, after usefully and zealously performing the duties of Sabbath School Superintendent there since 1846, has obliged to withdraw from the position, and received a most handsome presentation, and a kind, complimentary address from the teachers and children, so long under his presiding care. The proceedings were of an extremely interesting nature, several capital speeches were made, and all present enjoyed the agreeable occasion. Posted as an act of genealogical kindness by an unrelated volunteer.
