Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/hYl.2ACIB/4083.2.1.1.1 Message Board Post: According to a book written by descendants, the family of James Johnston and Mary (Garvin) came to Ontario in 1865-67 and settled in Ridgetown, Blenheim, HIghgate and Tilbury districts. Mary Garvins sister Sarah and William Johnston had a son called John J Johnston who also settled in Ontario but I have forgotten the area and dates - it is on one of the boards. We are not sure if the parents William and Sarah emigrated or remained in Ireland.
