I read Emma's message and, like her, a Johnston represents a brick wall. My grandfather (on my paternal side) is the afore-mentioned George Edward Johnston, known as Ed Johnston. He married Bessie Dillon and lived most of his life in Sedalia MO where he (1) worked for the railroad, and (2) had some success as a real estate developer, particularly in the Lake of the Ozarks area.
