Posting again. My ggrandfather was William H. (Henry?) Johnston, born Belfast, Down, Ulster, Ireland in 1851, according to the 1900 New Haven, CT Census. At that time, he was living in the Fire House in New Haven, Fire Chief according to family history. (Another William was naturalized in 1864 in New Haven, and could have been his father.) He was married to Marguerite Evelyn O'Brien, and children were Lulu, William Henry, and Leicester. Any information on this family would be most appreciated - ancestors in Ireland of course the stumbling block. Thanks, Averill
