He had retired in 1923 after 38 years service with the company. His wife, Mrs. Eva P. Johnston, a son, Grover F. Johnston; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Lucille Kennedy, Akron; four brothers, T. C., Hiram, and J. M. Johnston, all of Columbus, and Walter Johnston, of Stratford; two sisters, Mrs. Della Brown, Outville, and Mrs. Irene Evans, Newark, and four grandchildren, Helen, Janette, Frank and Lucile Johnston, all of Columbus. Eleventh-av, died from heart disease Tuesday night at his home, after an illness of 11 years. He formerly was foreman of the Kilbourne & Jacobs Manufacturing Co. He retired in 1923, after 36 years of service. He wa a member of the United Brethren Church at Marietta. Surviving are his widow; one son, Grover F. Johnston; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Lucille Kennedy, Akron; four brothers, T. C. Johnston, J. M.
