I have been looking for any information on my dad's side of the family. The information that I have is as followed: My father's name--Eugene Edward JOHNSTON b 7 May 1925 in Kaufman, Tx. He was raised in the Methodist Children's Home in Waco, TX approx from 1932-1943. My grandfather's name--William Darcy JOHNSTON b. 1885 d. 1963. My grandmother's name--Wanda Beth (maiden name unknown) b. 9 Aug. 1889 d. 17 May 1932. I think that both of my grandparents are buried at the Laurel land Memorial Park (unknown location since there are a couple of memorial parks with the same name). Full-blooded siblings names--Frank JOHNSTON, William JOHNSTON (unknown if Jr. or not), Elizabeth JOHNSTON, Helen JOHNSTON, Dorothy JOHNSTON (married name REAVES), Nina JOHNSTON, and Robert JOHNSTON. My grandfather was married a 2nd time and I believe that her name was Hallie (maiden name unknown). They had 3 children together. My father's half-blooded siblings names--Barbara JOHNSTON, Betty JOHNSTON, and Neil JOHNSTON. My father was in the Navy from approx. 1943-1968. My father married Mary Elinor SHOCKEY b. 7 Jan. 1934 in Dec. 1956. My mother had a previous child Daniel Wayne MORROW b. 23 Mar. 1955 and my father legally adopted him. Eugene Edward JOHNSTON and Mary Elinor SHOCKEY had 2 daughters--Mary Jean JOHNSTON b. 1 Oct. 1957 and Carolyn Norine JOHNSTON-YOUNG b. 28 Feb. 1962.
