I'm searching for more information on the family of Alexander Johnston who was the son of Michael and Elizabeth Johnston of Cumberland Co., Kentucky. Michael died there in 1819. Alexander married Rachael Richardson who was born in 1797 in Tennessee to George Richardson and Comfort Claywell and married in Cumberland Co., Kentucky. They were known to be living in Blount Co., Alabama in 1850. I know of one daughter Louisa and I've heard that Alexander was a lawyer. Any help with this family would be greatly appreciated.
