Looking for information on George Madison Johnston, born circa 1874, possibly in Illinois. He married Lena May Perrin around 1898. Their 1st surviving child was born, Mach 12, 1901 in Missouri. It is reported that George was a constable or deputy sheriff in Jackson County, & suspected that he died possibly in the late 1930's in the Grubbs area of Jackson County, Arkansas. We have no idea of when his death occurred or where he is buried, other than the fact that it is definitely supposed to be Arkansas. His wife, only one we know of, was buried in Union Grove Cemetery, Independence County, Arkansas. She passed away July 17, 1936, & as I understand it George was already long gone then. Terrye
