attn. david leonard you cant find a connection in va because his father was probably in mo and possibly still owned land in ky. i have tried both va and ky with no luck. his father was b in va moved to ky, with his father 1787-1800 and probably to mo early 1800s. he was probably in war 1812 in mo and cpt mo militia. i am looking for connection to benjamin, general washington, george, or william johnston in mo. as his possible fa. i know about 1850 census and lydia but a mothers first name and birthplace is a hopeless dead end. there is a lydia johnston listed in ky census 1820 or 1830 but i havent pursued it as well as lydia ford m. - johnston va late 1700s. i think they are in my notes. i hope you have got my hard copy. incidentally your digitalized picture of rosanna did not come out and locks up my computer. i appreciate the effort. istillneed your e-mail address bob
