Hi, looking for Adam Johnston's descendants. He came from northern Ireland settled in Pennslyvania for a time then on to Giles Co. Virginia. His wife; Elizabeth Jane Stafford. My g.g.gr.father; Adam Johnston, (grandson of Adam Johnston and Elizabeth) married; Lucinda Williams...Wilhelm, March 24, 1843. Adam was killed in the Civil War near Richmond, Va. Near Bottoms Brigde. His son Isaac, caught him as he fell. Their daughter Sarah Anne Johnston, married Peter Strother HARDIMAN, March 19, 1868. Peter was born Sept.1844, he had two brothers John b. 1838-39 and Patrick, b.1842 who married Harriet Harris in Wilkes Co. Georgia. The Hardiman brothers were born in Athlone, Ireland..their parents; Peter and Mary/Mariah ? Other names in this line; Ross, Givens, Reynolds, Black, Kessler, Houseman, Reichert, Pearce, Harless.
