(sp. on document) of the County and Colony above.Jonston paid the Groves 150 pounds Curent money of Virginia for Lots of Land in the town (and subbrubs) of Stephensburgh as follows Lot # 78 an acre, Lot # 79, one- half acre. " which several lots of land was conveyed to the said Matthias Grove by Bargain and sale from Lewis Stephens Senr.Henry Conrad Laurence Snapp and Newlas Prinslar."
