JOHNSTON) grandfather (whose name im not sure of) was a scout for Well's Fargo during the Civil War in the western territories. He married a Cherokee woman in Oklahoma. Im not sure where, but they gave birth to my great grandfather, Oscar JOHNSTON who married Ivy Mae NOONAN. any information on this lineage, if it is out there at all, would be greatly appreciated!
