Hello Members, I am looking for any information about my father's side of family. I have limited information on them and would like to find out more about them. Oct. 1963 My grandmother Wanda Beth (maiden name unknown) b. 1889 d. 1932 They had 8 children: 1. Frank JOHNSTON, 2. William JOHNSTON (nickname-Dub) (unknown if Jr. or not) 3. Elizabeth JOHNSTON 4. Helen JOHNSTON 5. Dorothy JOHNSTON 6. Nina JOHNSTON 7. Robert JOHNSTON (last known business-Johnston's Printing located in the Los Angeles area) 8. Eugene Edward JOHNSTON (my father) b. 7 May 1925 married in 1956 to Mary Elinor SHOCKEY b. 7 Jan 1934. They had 2 children together: 1. Mary Jean JOHNSTON b. 1 Oct. 1957 2. Carolyn Norine JOHNSTON-YOUNG (myself) b. 28 Feb. 1962 My mother had 1 son from a previous marriage that my father legally adopted: Daniel Wayne JOHNSTON b. 23 Mar. 1955 (original last birth name-MORROW) To my knowledge, following my grandmother's death, some or all of the children were placed in the Methodist Children's Home in Waco, Texas. My father was there from approx. 1932-1943. My grandfather remarried following my grandmother's death. They had 3 children: 1. Barbara JOHNSTON 2. Betty JOHNSTON 3. Neil JOHNSTON (last known business-Johnston's Limousine located in Texas) Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, C. Young
