GA in the 1860 Census. He had a number of children, among them twins, Emmett and Emma. Emmett later fathered James Cavanaugh, or J.C. Johnston, who married Maggie Argo in Varnell, GA and had six children (one died). Their youngest son, James Lester, was born in 1914 and died in 1986. James Lester was my father. Any information that can be added would be greatly appreciated.
