    3. I just wanted to thank everyone for your suggestions on how to find this book. I will try every one. I will keep your e-mails on file and if I find it, I will be happy to share. My Johnston's starting with John Johnston and his wife Margaret Edmondson came from Ireland around 1750. Their youngest son Benjamin was born in Lurgan Township PA in 1760 and married Jane Breckenridge. My line comes from their oldest son George b. 1738 and married FNU McCammon. They eventually went to the Fairfax/Loudoun CTY areas in Virginia. Once again, thanks. Vonnie Johnston [email protected]

    2. I would also love to find this book Vonnie. My husband is descended from Robert Johnston b. abt. 1775, emigrated from Ireland about 1790, had among his descendants a son William married to Susan Harbaugh, and a grandson John Aaron Johnston married to Mary Ellen Brown. These are my husband's Johnston ancestors. While I don't know anything about this book, I do have lists of Robert Johnston's descendants. Let me know if this is your family. The William Johnston I'm looking for was probably born about 1800 or before. His son, Thomas, was born in 1818 and born in Somerset County. His daughter, Anne, was born in 1824 in Springfield Twp, Fayette. Your Thomas and my William could be brothers or related in some way. Do you have any of Thomas's siblings?
