The publisher is Taylor County Historical Society P.O. Box 14 Campbellsville, Ky. George Madison is a name that crops up in my Johnston line. I believe George Madison was a governor of Kentucky. I haven't had the opportunity to read this article, but I asked the Historical Society to copy it for me.

Seeking any info on William JOHNSTON. He was born 1774/77(where?) and died 15 Jan 1815 of disease at Battle of New Orleans. Wife's name was Sarah. Children include: Rebecca, b. 1801: Nancy Louisa Jane, b. 1802: William Perry, b. 1808: Francis Justice, b. 1812: Aaron, b. 1814 & Isaac, b. 1814. Family lived in TN. At times in Warren Co. Dear Johnston Listers, I am searching for information on Harrison Biggers JOHNSTON born abt. 1841 in KY. I am taking a stab at a lead that BIGGERS may be his mother's maiden name. Does anyone have BIGGERS hanging from their trees. The 1880 MO Census states his mother as from KY and his father from VA. Harrison Biggers JOHNSTON m.
