Dear List, Can anybody identify this family? 1900 Census: Dallam Co. TX (in the Texas Panhandle) W. Johnson, head, b. Apr 1863, age 37, Married 14 yrs, B. MO, Laura J. wife, b. Dec 1868, age 34, Married 14 yrs, B. KY James E. son, b. Sep 1890, age 9, S B. TX Thomas B. son, b. Feb 1899, age 1, S B. TX Believe this man may be named William Thomas Johnson, but I have no proof of that. I have only his initials, W. T. Johnson. He shows as a blacksmith in this 1900 census. Any info appreciated. Hi Michael Since you are from Md. Supposedly ARTHUR JOHNSON JR married Elizabeth Harrison in Haggerston around 1775. Were all of those records burned or is something available? The first Census records an Arthur Johnson is 1820. 1820 Hagerstown, Washington County, Maryland Arthur Johnson - 210210 21010 note: the above may not be correct - difficult to differentiate between the 0's and the 1's.
