I have a few pages from a book on Putnam County, Georgia that I copied from a book (can't remember the name of it now) that I got on inter-library loan, and so far, I have found only one Johnson marriage. I don't have the actual Johnson page, unfortunately, as I was not looking for my Johnson's in Putnam Co. The one marriage I found is: Eliza Johnson who married a Nathaniel Voss on Dec. 9, 1830 I found one Johnston: Charlotte A. Johnston who married John Wright on Jan. 3, 1817 On a page from Will Book B - 1822-1857, I found the following Johnston(s): p. 171 - Joseph Johnston - He was one of the Executors of Richard Conine's will dated September 9, 1837 p. 173 - Thomas Johnston - He was a friend and one of the Executors of the will of a James Burt, dated May 14, 1829 Sorry, that's all I have on Johnson/ston marriages or wills in Putnam Co., GA. I had someone send me all the records they could extract from some CD they had for Ransom Brown and I found just ONE who married a JOHNSEN: P. K. Johnsen married R. B. Brown in Panola Co., Mississippi April 23, 1890 Mary H. Johnson married A. P. Brown in Cherokee Co., AL on November 30, 1882 Jordan Johnson married Amanda Brown in Russell Co., AL on March 14, 1872 Mary F. Johnson married R. B. Brown in Murray Co., GA on June 5, 1875 J. A. Johnson married Mary E. Brown in Tippah Co., MS on November 9, 1865 William Johnson married Mary Brown in Copiah Co., MS on January 5, 1893 Sam Johnson married Mary Ann Brown or Burden (that's what it says) in Simpson Co., MS on January 20, 1897 Don't know what else I'm going to find in all my myriads of papers!
