Do you have any other info. on your James? Do you know who his kids were? I also have 2 James Johnson's. the Sr. James was James Samuel Johnson. I have no idea of where he came from but may have been in Mo. as the second James was apparently born there. The second James was James Jefferson Johnson b. 1865 Tipton, Moniteau Co., Mo. d. 1943 Chelsea, Okla. the first James was married to a Nancy Worth or Worthy. Their second son was William Ballard Johnson born supposedly 1870 in Illinois died in 1915 unknown where. But I haven't found any of them in Mo or Illinois. the second James was married to a Georgia A. divorced in 1898 in Pawhuska, Okla. (she might be Osage or Kaw Indian) they had 2 kids supposedly a boy/girl then he married his second wife Martha Jane Phariss in 1899 in Pryor Creek, Roger Co., Okla. they had 11 kids One of his older boys from the second marriage Floyd Allen "Cotton" Johnson had been in touch w/one of his 1/2 siblings years ago, but no one apparently knows who they are.
