    1. William Johnston of Colonial Georgia
    2. I am looking for any information on William Johnston of Ga pre 1790. My William came to the Colonies about 1740. He arrived at the port at St. Marys GA according to old letters left by 2 grandchildren. He married (according to letters) Honor Killingsworth. I find no record of this or any Honor. The only son I can find is John who moved to what is now Washington Co., Al. William stayed in GA. where he died probably in early 1790s. Does anyone descend from any of the several William John(s)ton of early GA. What records do you have. I have this. No way all can be the same William.. and we all know that the "T" in Johnston is sometimes left out. Any Help would be appreciated. Betty
