I'm looking for info on my great grandfather, Harold Johns(t)on, b. 1828 in AL, according to census. On AL census he is listed as Harrell Johnston. In 1860 he was living in Macon Co, AL according to the census, with his wife, Louisa and family. Around 1861 Harold and his family moved to Bradley Co, AR. I believe Harold died in AR before 1900. Harold married 4 times, the last time being to my great grandmother, Martha E. Smith. On their marriage license is showed his name being Harold Johnson. Don't know if it could have been Johnston and later the "t" was dropped or if it was always wrong. I'm trying to find out where Harold was born and who his family was. The census shows his parents were born in NC. Harold may have been part Indian. Any help locating my missing link would be appreciated. Thanks for any help, Pam Temple
