Greetings: My JOHNSON research has hit a wall!! I am looking for any information regarding a Charles JOHNSON (b. abt. 1763 +/- 10, VA) and his wife Margaret COOPER. Charles JOHNSON, while supposedly having been born in VA, has proven to be very elusive. I have not been able to find anything regarding his parentage. (1817, Clark Co., IN) Jacob D. ROE (ROWE) George H. JOHNSON m. (KY) Sarah SPENCE William JOHNSON m. (1827, Fountain Co., IN) Emily CLARK Mary Elizabeth JOHNSON m. (1825, Clark Co., IN) John SNOW Polly JOHNSON m. John ASBY (ASHBY) The father Charles JOHNSON was supposedly an early settler of Indiana and settled first in Fayette Co., IN.
