OK, Everybody, feel free to poast to me, telling me, you found my NANCY JOHNSON !!! hehe She was supposed to have married Thomas D. Gowen in SC about 1799. They wound up in Louisiana. Also had several children; on was Stephen Breckenridge Gowen born in SC. He had a son named Hadley (Had) Goynes, who raised his nephew, my grandfather William Simon Goynes. Hadley was on the 1880 Trinity C. TX census as a one armed man age about 40-43, born LA. Married to Mary age about 23, and nephew, William age 1 . This nephew was apparently my GrPa. I say the ages above as "about" because I don't remember off hand their ages. I have a new pc, and don't know how to get the info from my old one to this one ! The old one did not have cd burner, and the new one does not have a floppy disk drive . Anyone got ideas to help ? Be Blessed, Lorene
