If you have a friend who has Yahoo Messenger you can send them your files in packets of about 7 to 10 megabytes of zipped files from your old computer. Have them save them to a separate folder. When you have sent what you want transferred. Switch computers, sign on to Yahoo messenger and have them send them back. They can delete the entire folder in one step after you are sure the data has come through cleanly. Choose someone you trust or don't send sensitive information (Bank Account, etc.) Usually you just have to send pictures, data files, etc. You should be able to reload programs onto the new computer.
