Zachariah and wife Esther JOHNSON is my gggrandfather and gggrandmother. According to 1850 census, Zachariah was born in SC abt 1807, wife Esther was born abt 1815 in SC. I am not sure if they married in SC or in AL, where their first three kids were born. They moved from AL to TIPPAH CO. MS about 1839. Zachariah is not on the 1860 census but Esther is, along with six of her, 9 kids. Esther is on the 1880 BENTON CO. MS (neighboring county to TIPPAH CO.)census living with her oldest daughter Harriet, who is married to William CAMPBELL at this time.
