    3. Here are a few odds and ends with the Johnson name. This is from the Harris County, Georgia, Court Records, Inferior Court Minutes, dated 1831, taken from the Harris County Tax Records; Book "1831 Tax Digest", page 7, of Capt. Warren's District. Benjamin Johnson -- 1 slave - 202-1/2 acres - Lot #189 - District 20 - Harris Co. Defaulters: William Read, John Johnson, Thomas Graham and Levi Daniel ********* REMEMBER - I KNOW NOTHING ELSE ABOUT THESE PEOPLE EXCEPT THEIR NAMES!!! ********* Okay, rather than type all these names, if you want to ask me about your particular Johnson being on this next list, I'll be glad to do the lookup. I have the "Mississippi Confederate Grave Registrations, A-L" by Betty Couch Wiltshire and I happen to have the Johnson's, of course, since that's one of my main lines. I also have the "Mississippi Confederate Pension Applications, H-O" by Betty C. Wiltshire, I can look up Johnson's in there, too. Sue (Johnson) Howard
